These GPS tracks are provided to support generalized route finding and trip planning. The tracks are mostly divided into segments of from five to eight miles in length suitable for (long) out-and-back day hikes.
The tracks are provided in the KML format and can be viewed directly in Google Earth or Google Maps (or for import into other online mapping software or a GIS). In most cases, identifiable locations are within 10 to 30 feet of the actual location. However, the accuracy varies and in some places the tracks deviate from the actual trail route by signifcant amounts.

To obtain individual files you can use the links from the table below, or click here to access the top level of the repository. On the web page for the repository click the green "Clone or Download" button. Choose the "Download ZIP File" option and a ZIP archive containing the files will be downloaded to your computer.

Updated - nlpt_3_grant_lake - The portion of this section from Abner Brook to where the trail reaches West Stony Creek (.5 miles from the Godfrey Road Spur Junction) was filled in from existing trail maps. No GPS track was captured for this section.
